Still a work in progress that I started this weekend. I decided to revisit my painting of Morraine because to be honest it was just very underwhelming and boring. I made her hair black as it should have been in the first place lol....but I am keeping her eyes blue because I that is what I believe I read at some point and has always been the way I pictured her.
I got rid of her ring and will repaint it to look like an overlapping double band instead of a single. The scene is supposed to be the blight in Eye of the World when they get attacked by trees. I know they were on horses, so I am going to try and wriggle that in as well.
This is still very much a work in progress. I am posting this so you guys watching me can provide some feedback on what is working and what isn't or if you have any ideas to make the piece even better

Ah yes, definite improvement, well done! Much better with the differentiation in colours of her outfit; I reckon it's much more realistic her having a brown cloak during a tough journey, and the blue of her dress is much more delicate and pleasing. I disagree with the Aes Sedai symbol on her cloak, as they had not even found the Dragon banner yet, but artistic license and all. Obvious improvement in the weaving, and her darkened hair. It makes me smile that you left in the blue eyes - I had that old edition too, where it refers to her 'blue gaze'... The Great Hunt, I believe. Ever after her eyes are referred to as 'dark', and I was disappointed when I read that it had been a mistake, that her eyes were dark brown all along! She looks better in my head with dark blue
